Resumo:
Sofia, Beatrice and Kajsa share fond memories of growing up in Kiruna, reflecting on places and experiences that have since changed or disappeared.
Sofia recalls spending Friday evenings during her first year with friends, ending the night at a large swing known as the “pancake swing”, where several people can sit together. Although the swing was still there at the time of the interview, she noted that it could be removed in the future.
Kajsa shares memories of the old bathhouse, which she visited often with her friend Beatrice. She remembers going there to swim at least twice a week and describes it as a welcoming place. The bathhouse no longer exists and has been replaced by a larger building. Kajsa also shared memories on the walking routes she used during the summer, recalling the surrounding landscape.
Beatrice remembers a small house near the school, where people gather to play music and dance, performing Finish songs.
Finally, they all share a vivid and lasting memory of walking to school on winter mornings, when the trees and ground were covered in frost, sparkling, an image they say they will never forget.
