History and Memories of Almada
Objective:
The initiative "History and Memories of Almada" aims to gather and record testimonies from the populations of Charneca de Caparica, Sobreda, Monte de Caparica, Trafaria, and Costa de Caparica, within the framework of a project to create identity ties for the Almada Historical Archive. In addition to studying and valuing the stories and memories of these inhabitants, recognizing the importance of local history for understanding the history of Portugal, the collected testimonies will also enrich the Memória para Todos® archive dedicated to this theme, ensuring its articulation with the Almada Historical Archive's website.
