Kiruna känns tomt nuförtiden, det är något som saknas. Inte för att det är tystare eller mindre folk men för det saknar samma känsla av hem. Allt är nytt och modernt men minnena saknas och det känns allt mer främmande. Folket splitras och tvingas välja mellan pengar eller att flytta och allt detta styrs av gruvan. Staden har alltid känts som hem men nu mera har det blivit en pengahungrig stad som väljer malmen före minnena. Långsamt formas staden efter LKABs behov och gamla Kiruna finns inte med I bilden.

Kiruna feels empty these days, there is something missing. Not because it is quieter or less populated but because it lacks the same feeling of home. Everything is new and modern but the memories are missing and it feels increasingly foreign. The people are divided and forced to choose between money or moving and all this is controlled by the mine. The city has always felt like home but now it has become a money-hungry city that chooses the ore over the memories. Slowly the city is being shaped according to LKAB's needs and old Kiruna is not in the picture.
